Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with prospects and customers as a strategic sales partner.
- Partner with Account Executives on discovery, deal qualification, solution strategy, and deal shaping.
- Validate technical feasibility, use cases, success criteria, risks, integrations, and customer environment alignment.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations showing how Vanta automates and operationalises GRC programmes across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks.
- Support customers throughout their trial process.
- Create complete post-sale handoff documentation covering solution design, expectations, risks, and constraints.
- Provide structured customer and market feedback to the Product team.
- Contribute to a collaborative, creative, open, and continuously improving team environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of customer-facing technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, GRC consultant, or equivalent, including prior B2B SaaS experience.
- Strong technical problem-solving ability and experience identifying and validating technical, operational, and business pain points.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, active listening, and technical demonstration skills.
- Ability to conduct strategic discovery, connect technical details to buyer impact, and guide stakeholders toward solution alignment.
- Experience partnering with Account Executives on qualification, deal strategy, and delivery paths.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Windows, MacOS, Linux, and cloud application architecture.
- General knowledge of a scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations is a plus.
- Prior cybersecurity, GRC, governance, risk, compliance, or audit experience is preferred.
- Willingness to use AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
- Ability to work from the London or Dublin office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.
