Responsibilities
- Develop machine-learning technologies for image and video processing.
- Prototype deep-learning applications and present work to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Design model architectures, tune performance parameters, and implement architectural improvements.
- Port machine-learning solutions across platforms while optimizing memory efficiency, power consumption, and processing speed.
- Distribute computational workloads across CPU, GPU, Apple Neural Engine, and specialized hardware components.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Excellent fundamentals in machine learning and strong programming skills with common machine-learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Knowledge of video processing, image processing, or computer vision.
- Experience prototyping models for edge devices through rapid iterations.
- Familiarity with the productization flow for machine-learning models.
- Experience with deep-learning techniques for video processing or computer vision.
- Strong fundamentals in computer architecture.
- Good written and oral interpersonal skills.
