Responsibilities
- Drive functional requirements from specification through release with developers and testers.
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested Java code.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs for payment-service integrations.
- Use Mastercard tools and implement enterprise quality standards, processes, and build control strategies.
- Define test plans and schedules with business stakeholders and the development team.
- Document work using Jira and Confluence and follow the team’s agile methodology.
- Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete required security training.
Requirements
- Backend development knowledge and experience, particularly with Java.
- Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
- A self-driven, proactive, curious, customer-focused, quality-focused, and outcome-oriented approach.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, testers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
