Base Salary
$135k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, modify, test, debug, and maintain embedded software for satellite, payload, and other specialized hardware systems.
- Analyze and translate customer requirements and support the full software development lifecycle through formal qualification.
- Integrate software with hardware and improve embedded-system efficiency, stability, quality, safety, and assurance.
- Conduct Cyber Vulnerability Analysis and design and implement cyber monitoring algorithms.
- Create custom tools and processes for configuration automation and development workflow improvement.
- At the senior level, lead technical design, integration, testing, project management functions, team and supplier performance evaluation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Produce design, test, and program CDRL documentation and deliver software products on cost and schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance after starting; U.S. Government requirements include U.S. citizenship, and a final Secret clearance is required before start.
- Preferred: 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Level 4.
- Preferred: full software development lifecycle experience through formal qualification and embedded real-time software development experience.
- Preferred: experience with GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Wireshark or other network analysis tools, debuggers, and DevOps toolchains for automated builds and testing.
- Candidates must complete a required CodeVue technical assessment and satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.
