Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision for data protection across the Clumio platform.
- Lead complex, high-impact technical initiatives from problem definition to production delivery.
- Translate business and customer needs into clear technical requirements and system designs.
- Mentor Principal Engineers and senior technical leaders.
- Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Security, and Compliance teams to align technical investments with product goals.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex production systems.
- Proven experience leading ambiguous, high-impact technical initiatives.
- Strong ability to translate business and operational needs into technical requirements.
- Deep experience in designing distributed or cloud-native systems focused on correctness and cost efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to make critical technical decisions with broad system impact.
