Sr. Platform Engineer - Kubernetes (Remote)

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes platform solutions.
- Optimize and maintain the reliability of large-scale infrastructure platform systems.
- Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies into existing system workflows.
- Provide technical direction for the continued evolution of Kubernetes infrastructure services.
- Mentor less-senior engineers and support collaborative infrastructure decision-making.
- Participate in on-call shifts and periodically complete government-required background and fingerprint checks.
Requirements
- At least five years of Kubernetes experience, including managing clusters with thousands of nodes.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Golang.
- Experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux environments.
- Experience operating infrastructure in AWS, GCP, and OCI.
- Experience operating in custom data centers.
- Eligibility for CJIS clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status.
- Proven use of AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Experience writing Kubernetes operators is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or another applicable field is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, confidence, independence, and judgment are preferred.
