Responsibilities
- Contribute to production features across backend and frontend applications.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers, and other cross-functional partners.
- Write clean, maintainable, tested, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and learn engineering best practices.
- Debug issues and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Learn modern software architecture, cloud technologies, and scalable application design.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and participate in planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
Requirements
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, or Go.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development.
- Some exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React is an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services, automated testing, open-source contributions, or personal software projects is a plus but not required.
