Responsibilities

Define and deliver the multi-team storage strategy with measurable outcomes.
Lead architecture with strong safeguards and observability.
Make high-judgment trade-offs across customer experience, compliance, cost, and operational risk.
Raise reliability and quality bars through SLO/SLI ownership and validation frameworks.
Mentor senior engineers and model effective cross-team influence.
Lead incident posture and prevention, ensuring durable fixes.
Partner with PM/Design to set and communicate goals.

10+ years building and operating distributed systems; 3+ years leading multi-team initiatives.
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Deep expertise in front-end (JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML/CSS) and back-end (Node.js, Python) development.
Extensive experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Expert system/architecture design skills including data modeling and failure recovery.
Proven cross-org influence and decision-making skills.
Operational excellence in owning SLO/SLIs and leading incident management.
High-altitude communication and stakeholder management skills.
