Responsibilities
- Develop software features that improve AOCS subsystem observability, support new satellite hardware generations, and scale the satellite fleet.
- Automate satellite operations in collaboration with software and hardware teams.
- Analyze satellite flight telemetry to investigate past events and guide performance improvements.
- Coordinate with satellite operators to execute in-orbit test activities.
- Develop real-time attitude control software for satellite imaging operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and deploying software for embedded systems.
- Experience developing applications that run on Linux.
- Strong C++ and Python coding and testing skills.
- Experience controlling hardware sensors and actuators is preferred.
- Scientific computing and data analysis experience is preferred.
- Experience with Linux kernel configuration and builds is preferred.
- Understanding of real-time programming, control theory fundamentals, and digital signal processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle is preferred.
- Ability to systematically solve complex problems and willingness to learn.
