Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain VB.NET and C# server-side applications using ASP.NET WebForms.
- Build and optimize SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and complex queries.
- Implement client-side functionality with JavaScript, jQuery, DOM manipulation, and AJAX patterns.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full technology stack.
- Analyze and optimize application and query performance for scale and reliability.
- Collaborate with product owners and DevOps teams to support seamless releases.
- Produce technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Refactor legacy code, manage multiple projects, and shift priorities as needed.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on VB.NET experience.
- At least three years of experience building and maintaining ASP.NET WebForms applications.
- At least three years of SQL Server experience, including writing and tuning stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and AJAX patterns.
- At least three years of Visual Studio experience and proficiency with Git source control.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and work with legacy code.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, AngularJS, or React is preferred.
- Performance profiling and load testing experience is preferred.
- Exposure to CI/CD tooling and automated deployment pipelines is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a Scrum or Agile environment is preferred.
