Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated test solutions for product-level validation.
- Integrate devices under test, measurement instruments, power and energy equipment, communication interfaces, and test benches into repeatable Hardware-in-the-Loop environments.
- Implement automation software and scripts to control devices, execute test sequences, collect data, manage results, and support reporting.
- Use communication interfaces, protocols, and software libraries to configure products, stimulate test conditions, and verify expected behavior.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and improve test coverage, troubleshooting, documentation, traceability, and product quality.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, system, and product teams across the product validation process.
- Contribute to improved test automation practices, data quality, and integrated laboratory test systems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with automated test solutions for product-level validation on real devices and laboratory setups.
- Experience integrating devices under test, measurement instruments, power and energy measurement equipment, communication interfaces, and test benches.
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop or equivalent automated test setups involving real hardware, instruments, and controlled test conditions.
- Practical Python programming experience for test automation and framework development.
- Experience with C#/.NET for tool integration, device communication libraries, DLL usage, or automation interfaces.
- Experience with Modbus, M-Bus, Ethernet, TCP/IP, serial communication, or similar device communication technologies.
- Experience with test automation tools such as pytest, TestStand, Azure DevOps, or equivalent solutions.
- Practical knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, particularly power and energy measurement equipment and automated data acquisition.
- Experience with version control and collaborative development workflows using Git, SVN, or similar tools.
