Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, document, and support secure, scalable enterprise application solutions.
- Build the greenfield Card Management Platform, including card lifecycle, customer, account, fleet, driver, reporting, self-service, printer, fuel-network, and ERP workflows.
- Develop object-oriented services, modern front-end interfaces, REST APIs, event-driven integrations, provider abstractions, and AWS-based solutions.
- Create SQL scripts, ETL processes, migration utilities, data mappings, validation, reconciliation, and exception handling for ERP and platform migrations.
- Participate in technical design, code reviews, quality reviews, estimation, planning, risk communication, documentation, monitoring, and production readiness.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, architecture, infrastructure, cloud, security, data, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and support internal training and documentation.
- Participate in occasional releases, production support activities, and incident response outside standard business hours as needed.
Requirements
- Five or more years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing REST APIs, enterprise integrations, event-driven applications, React or similar front-end interfaces, relational database solutions, ETL and migration utilities, and production support solutions.
- Strong object-oriented development skills using C# and/or Python.
- Experience with REST API design, authentication, authorization, API security, event-driven architecture, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, ETL, data validation, migration scripting, and reconciliation.
- AWS and Microsoft/.NET certifications are preferred.
- Experience with cardlock, wholesale fuel, commercial fleet fueling, petroleum distribution, PDI, CFN, Voyager, PacPride, NetworkFuels, or card-printer systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of source control, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production readiness.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and translate business requirements into secure and maintainable technical solutions.
