Responsibilities
- Define frontend architectures and scalable patterns across large applications and multiple product teams.
- Build reusable frontend infrastructure, shared libraries, component systems, application frameworks, and developer tooling.
- Develop high-quality web, mobile, and progressive web experiences for manufacturing, supply chain, and production operations.
- Lead technically ambiguous initiatives from architecture through implementation and adoption.
- Identify common problems across teams and turn them into reusable platform capabilities and paved paths.
- Influence technical direction across organizational boundaries while remaining hands-on in production code.
- Improve application performance, testing, observability, and reliability.
Requirements
- Deep experience building and architecting modern web applications with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and related technologies.
- Experience defining frontend architecture and scalable patterns across large applications or multiple product teams.
- Experience building reusable frontend infrastructure, shared libraries, component systems, or application frameworks.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals beyond frontend development, including APIs, authentication and authorization, data modeling, and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience leading technically ambiguous initiatives through architecture, implementation, and adoption.
- Ability to identify cross-team problems, create reusable platform capabilities, and influence technical direction while remaining hands-on.
- U.S. citizenship is required to access export-controlled data.
- Preferred: experience with frontend platforms, design systems, application frameworks, shared developer infrastructure, progressive web applications, mobile applications, React Native, offline-first or operationally critical experiences, monorepos, shared libraries, package management, large TypeScript codebases, or enterprise/manufacturing software such as MES, WMS, PLM, or ERP.
- Preferred: eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret/TS clearance.
