Responsibilities

  • Engage clients pre-sale to implement trials and evaluation programs and support RFP/RFI responses.
  • Coordinate post-sale deployment projects with clients, internal teams, and external vendors, including project plans, deployment plans, and statements of work.
  • Travel to customer sites and coordinate deployment tasks across DACH and wider EMEA.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and test Axon hardware and cloud or on-premises software solutions remotely and on site.
  • Provide technical consultation, demonstrations, training, and localized knowledge-transfer materials to customers.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact during deployment and hyper-care.
  • Validate product updates and releases, monitor release notes, and report software bugs and feature requests to product teams.
  • Ensure implementations meet local laws, data-protection and privacy requirements, including GDPR, and apply industry best practices.
  • Manage customer requirements, timelines, project status, issue escalation, and cross-functional communication.
  • Collaborate with professional services colleagues, sales, product, engineering, support, customer success, commercial operations, and channel partners to improve deployment processes and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT or Business, or relevant professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT consultancy, Professional Services, Field Services, or Sales Engineering.
  • German-language proficiency and essential English proficiency; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, APIs, and network administration concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SSH, and firewalls.
  • Experience with SaaS and hardware/software companies and one or more relevant domains such as mobile device management, mobile applications, digital video, body-worn cameras, in-vehicle video, vehicle electronics, drones, interview room software, digital evidence management, or forensic analysis tools.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with remote and on-site hardware and software installation and configuration.
  • Experience consulting with customers, managing customer relationships, and delivering software and hardware demonstrations and training to large groups.
  • Experience managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work cross-functionally, adapt to continual change, multitask, and work autonomously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoom, Teams, and JIRA.
  • Cisco Network, Microsoft Azure, Cradlepoint CPCNA/CPCNP, or related certifications are preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain drone pilot and/or vehicle electronics certifications.
  • Experience supporting law-enforcement or public-sector clients is preferred.
