Responsibilities
- Develop the long-term technical roadmap for the Navigation organization.
- Lead and mentor a global team of engineers in designing and executing critical engineering components.
- Collaborate across teams to align complex technical requirements and influence product direction.
- Evaluate and prototype new technologies to foster a culture of innovation.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and relay insights back to the team.
Requirements
- 15+ years of engineering experience with a strong track record.
- Extensive coding experience in languages such as C/C++, Python, Javascript, and Typescript.
- Proficiency with cloud database services like AWS RDS and Google Cloud Spanner.
- Strong passion for clean code and robust architecture.
- Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams with empathy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for complex ideas.
