Responsibilities
- Co-evolve MET Group’s AI strategy with the CIO and key stakeholders, including market, cost, open-weight, and build-versus-buy analysis.
- Work with delivery squads across MET entities to identify productivity opportunities and prototype agentic, machine-learning, and automated solutions.
- Build reusable AI agents, improve engineering practices and pipelines, and develop enterprise-grade governed agentic workflows over time.
- Drive quality, security, observability, standardization, evaluation, MLOps, feature-store usage, training and evaluation datasets, and model-drift evaluation.
- Coach business, engineering, and management teams and design and measure adoption of AI practices and end-user AI productivity solutions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on industry experience in software engineering and AI/data science.
- Experience developing ML solutions and AI agents for end-user AI tooling and enterprise agentic AI, including prompt and agent design, tool use, and evaluation.
- Fundamental understanding of and experience building data science solutions.
- Degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Software Engineering.
- Ability to work across Sales, Trading, Technology, and senior management contexts and support strategic analysis and business-case development.
- A coaching instinct and ability to help teams and management become increasingly autonomous.
- Experience with Databricks, Azure Cloud, Azure Foundry, agent-orchestration frameworks, LLMOps, MLOps, Azure agentic development tooling, or LLM gateways such as OpenRouter is preferred.
- Exposure to the B2C or B2B energy industry is preferred.
