Responsibilities
- Build and automate security controls and guardrails in collaboration with Security and Infrastructure teams.
- Create or tune detections and response playbooks for key risks and validate via simulation.
- Contribute to secure-by-default developer workflows and help triage findings.
- Implement improvements to cloud security posture, including misconfiguration checks.
- Write clear documentation and operational SOPs for built systems.
- Partner on security reviews for low-to-medium risk changes and track mitigations.
Requirements
- Experience in security engineering, cloud, or DevSecOps through coursework or projects.
- Comfortable reading code and automating with at least one programming language.
- Familiarity with cloud security, identity and access management, and CI/CD security.
- Strong communication skills to turn ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
