Responsibilities
- Contribute to LLM-based decision-making methods for experimental campaigns.
- Prototype approaches that combine LLM reasoning with Bayesian optimization.
- Build evaluation frameworks to benchmark LLM-augmented strategies.
- Integrate promising methods into the decision-making stack.
- Document findings and share results through various formats.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks.
- Foundation in Bayesian methods and optimization.
- Experience with large language models in applied settings.
- Ability to translate scientific questions into ML tasks.
- Comfort with iterating on experiments in research-style codebases.
- Clear communication skills and interest in collaboration.
