Responsibilities
- Lead the full development process for embedded L2/L3 protocol stack software, including design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration.
- Develop new features and environments for future cellular network products.
- Debug existing solutions deployed for customers worldwide.
- Analyze logs and debug software in Linux environments using tools such as GDB, QXDM, TM500, and QCAT.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of work experience.
- Understanding of end-to-end 4G/5G network architecture and familiarity with 3GPP RAN and O-RAN specifications.
- Development experience with cellular radio products complying with 3GPP E-UTRA/LTE and NR specifications.
- Expert-level proficiency in the MAC and RLC protocol layers, with knowledge of PHY, PDCP, and RRC.
- Familiarity with Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, and RAN protocols and interfaces.
- Strong C/C++ programming and Linux operating system skills.
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application to RAN; hands-on telecom/RAN AI/ML experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with Git is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the O-RAN E3 interface and dApp development is advantageous.
