Responsibilities
- Design and configure tailored Autonomous Mobile Robot solutions using warehouse automation and industrial engineering principles.
- Perform system sizing, simulation, capacity planning, layout optimization, workflow analysis, and data analysis for client operations.
- Engage with clients alongside sales teams to understand requirements, business processes, current practices, and integration needs.
- Provide software integration consulting and represent client needs in product and feature discussions.
- Create schematics, layouts, design documents, Software Design Documents, and joint reference architecture designs using SketchUp and AutoCAD.
- Develop solution proposals, lead pre-contract blueprinting sessions, and present technical and business concepts to stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, project management, sales, and other internal teams on feasible and scalable solutions.
- Support implementation to ensure delivered solutions meet design specifications and client expectations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing warehouse automation systems, with a strong focus on mobile robotics.
- Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role, preferably in consulting or technology companies.
- Proficiency in system modeling, capacity planning, layout optimization, material flow, process optimization, time-motion studies, and industrial engineering simulation methodologies.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, Warehouse Control Systems, Supply Chain Planning systems, and their integrations.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, client relationship, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to present to and influence senior management and C-level executives while collaborating across functions.
- Software development experience or background is preferred.
- Strong commercial awareness and willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally are preferred.
