Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, test, debug, and validate firmware for test and measurement instruments.
  • Support AI-driven optimization and implement algorithms, signal processing, and measurement-accuracy improvements.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers to define firmware requirements and integrate hardware components.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for firmware design, implementation, and testing.
  • Assist with user interfaces and communication protocols for test and measurement instruments.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to improve firmware quality and functionality.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and assembly language.
  • Understanding of microcontroller architectures, peripherals, and real-time operating systems.
  • Experience with embedded software development tools and debugging techniques.
  • Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, and USB communication protocols.
  • Experience with signal processing, data acquisition, and measurement techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
