Base Salary
$170k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scope and lead AI augmentation and automation projects across the product surface area.
- Develop applications for classification, data extraction, summarization, content generation, reference-based search and question answering, prediction, workflow triggering, and multimodal LLM-powered bots.
- Evaluate open-source models, proprietary models, and custom fine-tuning approaches using rigorous experimentation and evaluation protocols.
- Develop algorithms and techniques for natural language processing, data extraction, autonomous reasoning, few-shot learning, agentic reasoning, and multimodal interaction.
- Automate complex insurance, affordability, fulfillment, clinical study, and biopharma workflows using AI/ML, RPA, and scraping approaches.
- Build state machines, robust data and ML pipelines, predictive and simulation models, and consumer-grade AI-powered workflows.
- Translate heterogeneous data into insights for clinical indication selection, launch markets, insurer negotiations, drug adoption, and clinical trial performance.
- Own projects end to end from definition and design through development, launch, and measurement of business impact.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills and general computer science knowledge.
- ML/NLP research background demonstrated through top-tier conference publications or significant open-source contributions.
- Experience solving complex ML problems such as data-efficient learning, reasoning agents, or multi-step workflows and deploying solutions in production.
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, reinforcement learning, and multimodal models.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to move quickly, find shortcuts, and deliver against ambitious goals.
