Base Salary
$91k - $139k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute manual software verification activities for complex communications applications.
- Write and maintain manual test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test suites.
- Execute full-system and production-level testing before products are released to customers.
- Document defects, produce project status reports, and support development-team log capture.
- Lead multidisciplinary test teams during test events and report results to customer representatives.
- Help define and implement QA practices, procedures, standards, and reporting.
- Collaborate with QA, development, product, and DevOps teams to resolve problems and improve testing quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience writing, executing, and monitoring test suites using a variety of technologies.
- Strong knowledge of unit, smoke, performance, integration, and regression testing fundamentals.
- Advanced knowledge of wireless and networking protocols.
- Ability to write and maintain test procedures and test plans.
- Strong debugging, problem-resolution, documentation, communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance is preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically occasionally, approximately 20%.
- Must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR/EAR requirements or be eligible for an export license; some positions require current U.S. citizenship.
