Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and monitor quality engineering activities within software development and technical project environments.
- Document, baseline, and ensure understanding of technical requirements across engineering project teams.
- Participate in technical reviews, code quality assessments, and software engineering gates.
- Capture, track, and resolve problem reports and non-conformities against technical requirements.
- Support development of verification and validation test plans and test environments.
- Facilitate test readiness reviews, test review boards, and lessons-learned reviews.
- Develop quality management and software quality assurance plans for new projects.
- Ensure engineering plans and work packages cover the project and product breakdown structures.
Requirements
- Initial practical experience of 1–3 years, including internships or work-study programs, in software development or software quality engineering.
- Good understanding of software engineering lifecycles and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with unit testing, automated testing, verification, and validation practices.
- Basic knowledge of software architecture and coding best practices.
- Interest in quality management standards such as ISO 9001 and AQAP or process capability models such as CMMI.
- Knowledge of quality tools, defect tracking such as Jira, and audit practices is advantageous.
- Autonomous, proactive, curious, and able to solve technical challenges while communicating effectively across teams.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain security clearance from recognized authorities.
