Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the solution architecture vision and strategy for the Europe Transportation Ecosystem.
  • Translate complex business requirements into solution designs for agentic solutions, communication platforms, Control Tower, and data platforms.
  • Perform hands-on data modeling, mapping, schema definition, and semantic-layer development during the initial 3–6 months.
  • Build, prototype, and iterate solution designs with product and project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop reference architectures, patterns, guidelines, architecture reviews, and other architectural assets.
  • Maintain architecture artifacts including process flows, diagrams, structured data, frameworks, and technology stacks.
  • Present and defend designs through Architecture Review Boards and working groups.
  • Document and promote architecture best practices, lead Communities of Practice, and evaluate emerging technologies and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data architecture or the IT industry.
  • Working knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience leading solution design for generative technologies, including effort estimation, pricing, and client business-case presentations.
  • Deep knowledge of system, application, infrastructure, network, cloud, and security architecture.
  • Knowledge of Delta Lake, database systems, and query optimization, with experience using Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
  • Basic or strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools including SonarQube, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
  • Basic project management skills or experience contributing to large projects, plus Agile experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal English communication skills.
  • Preferred experience includes data and automation solution architecture focused on generative AI or agentic AI, semantic models, LLMs, Azure AI services, data integration, ETL, data governance, data privacy, Power Platform, MCP, A2A protocols, and rapid AI prototyping.
  • Consulting experience or prior client-facing technical specialist experience is advantageous.
