Responsibilities
- Work directly in the codebases of two or three portfolio companies alongside their engineering teams.
- Help teams ship features faster and teach them development practices they can continue using independently.
- Participate in production incident response, identify root causes, and fix the underlying issues.
- Review technical designs before implementation begins.
- Interview candidates and help companies establish hiring processes.
- Identify and automate manual processes affecting general managers and other business operators.
- Teach partner teams to use AI coding tools effectively.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working across several technology stacks.
- Strong independent judgment and the ability to make decisions without extensive committee review.
- Ability to prioritize high-impact roadmap work.
- High initiative and comfort finding work without an assigned backlog.
- Comfort with frequent context switching and supporting three or more companies in a week.
- Collaborative interpersonal approach and ability to earn the trust of partner engineering teams.
- Daily experience using AI coding tools and ability to teach those tools to others.
