Base Salary

$196k - $230k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and maintain telemetry systems that measure service-level performance and infrastructure utilization.
Analyze distributed systems to identify inefficiencies such as over-provisioning and resource contention.
Develop automation for right-sizing and workload optimization to reduce infrastructure waste.
Partner with service owners to implement performance improvements and track measurable gains.
Contribute to architectural improvements and code-level optimizations for cost efficiency.

6+ years of industry experience, including at least 1 year leading complex engineering projects.
Experience designing or optimizing distributed systems in cloud environments at scale.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Rust, or Java.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and public cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
Experience analyzing system performance and resource utilization using monitoring tools.
Ability to diagnose performance issues and translate findings into engineering improvements.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for documentation and alignment with partners.
