Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize GPU runtime and system software.
- Provide deep technical leadership for GPU runtime and system features and technologies.
- Optimize across the full AI software stack and collaborate with hardware and software architects from concept through deployment.
- Partner with customers and hyperscalers to understand workload requirements and deliver architectural and software optimizations.
- Advise executives and stakeholders on industry trends and recommend strategic initiatives.
- Drive state-of-the-art technologies for AMD machine learning products.
Requirements
- Deep experience in GPU runtime and system software, including low-level device drivers, OS internals, applications, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in kernel, driver, and system-level development using C/C++.
- Expertise in GPU software development and parallel programming.
- Deep expertise with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
- A proven record of software thought leadership supported by patents, publications, or participation in industry standards bodies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
