Base Salary

$44k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of software platforms involving operating systems, networks, and databases.
  • Build stable, user-friendly programs while following established processes and considering software-hardware relationships.
  • Apply programming or scripting skills in C/C++, Python, or Java.
  • Perform QA, testing, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with Cisco teams and stakeholders on security initiatives and technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate associate’s or bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one of C/C++, Python, or Java, demonstrated through coursework, projects, or work experience within the past 12 months.
  • Experience in QA, testing, and/or debugging.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Preferred knowledge includes Linux, networking concepts, operating system core concepts, embedded development, and/or machine learning.
  • Preferred experience includes databases, web application development, and web services.
  • Preferred knowledge includes computer networking, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
