Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Multigres Operator for distributed Postgres deployments.
- Architect cloud deployment infrastructure for EKS and other Kubernetes platforms.
- Manage storage and networking layers for data reliability and connectivity.
- Develop internal tools and automation for provisioning and managing Multigres clusters.
- Ensure operational excellence with monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Collaborate with database engineers, SRE, and product teams for seamless deployment experiences.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Go and experience building production-grade operators or controllers.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes internals and cloud-managed Kubernetes services.
- Understanding of database deployment patterns, backup/restore, and high availability.
- Familiarity with consensus protocols and designing for resilience in distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native deployment tooling and cloud provider APIs.
- Track record of building reliable and maintainable systems.
