Base Salary
$123k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Prototype and implement production-quality components for AI-assisted indoor mapping.
- Lead technical exploration of advanced features for Indoor GIS.
- Collaborate with product engineers, UX designers, and development teams to define project milestones.
- Design and develop robust components in C++, C#, and Python for spatial data processing.
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML technologies to enhance automation and user experience.
- Create technical specifications and test strategies for AI-assisted development workflows.
- Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards for AI/ML and computer vision software.
- Communicate technical findings and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
- Champion AI-assisted development practices across the team.
- Lead code reviews and maintain software quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in C++, C#/.NET, and Python, with depth in at least one language.
- Experience integrating or building with AI/ML technologies in production contexts.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with image analysis, computer vision, or 3D/graphics programming.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.
- Experience in AI-driven software development with LLM frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
