Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate software across multiple robotics subsystems and improve functionality on hardware.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain robotics applications using modern containerization technologies.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues by collecting data, analyzing behavior, and debugging across the full robotics stack.
  • Apply motion planning, perception, manipulation, autonomy, and related robotics research to real-world robotic systems.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree at an accredited college or university.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
  • Preferred candidates are pursuing Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar degree.
  • Preferred candidates have robotics clubs or projects, prior related internship or co-op experience, and experience with software-hardware interfacing and deployment workflows.
  • Programming experience with Python, C++, and Linux-based environments is preferred.
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2, Docker, Kubernetes, robotic hardware, embedded systems, and debugging complex systems is preferred.
