Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver third-party integrations and real-time connectors that allow AI agents to act across business systems.
- Own the architecture and technical direction of the integration platform, balancing scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Write high-quality code and promote consistent engineering practices, including clear organization, error handling, and documentation.
- Collaborate with partner teams on API contracts, authentication, and systems that the team depends on but does not control.
- Mentor and coach engineers, and contribute to hiring, career development, and engineering culture.
- Simplify existing systems, reduce technical debt, and apply generative AI tools when they improve productivity or product quality.
- Review designs, monitor operational dashboards, refine runbooks, and support reliable enterprise-scale operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
