Senior Sotware Engineer-Productivity GenAI - AI Assets Core Team - IT
Mercado LibreResponsibilities
- Design and implement the AI Assets platform and tools for discovery, distribution, versioning, quality, and governance.
- Incorporate GenAI into the platform team’s internal workflows and establish a replicable model for company-wide adoption.
- Collaborate with development teams to build GenAI solutions and support the platform’s continued evolution.
- Drive continuous improvement using user feedback, usage and adoption metrics, and emerging GenAI trends.
- Use AI agents to prototype, implement, and refactor software, and contribute to evaluation and verification practices for AI-assisted work.
- Design scoped solutions end to end and contribute to implementation plans.
Requirements
- Strong backend development fundamentals in Go, Java, or Python.
- Knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, software architecture, and distributed systems.
- Understanding of SOLID, clean architecture, and TDD development practices.
- Daily practice or strong interest in GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, and evaluation of AI-assisted systems.
- Experience or interest in developer tools, internal platforms, distribution systems, and the MCP protocol.
- Ability to design and deliver scoped solutions end to end.
