Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support AFRY’s internally developed engineering tools, integrations, and digital solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, data/AI, IT, and security teams in cross-functional and international environments.
- Prepare and manage technical and functional requirements, documentation, backlog prioritization, risk management, and transparent reporting.
- Contribute to compliant and secure solution delivery and promote modern engineering practices, automation, and AI-assisted ways of working.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, innovation, and collaboration across the engineering tools landscape.
Requirements
- Proven experience across a broad range of software development modalities in cross-functional and international environments.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Solid technical background with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering and IT teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; system integrations, APIs, enterprise applications, and application architecture.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, GitLab, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM-driven development approaches and modern collaboration tools.
- Understanding of plant engineering tools, workflows, and digital engineering environments.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and consultive skills.
