Base Salary
$82k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines that build, test, and deliver software.
- Build and maintain multi-architecture Docker images, multistage Dockerfiles, and development containers.
- Administer GitLab, CI runners, container/Kubernetes-based runners, source control, and automation tooling.
- Maintain lab, test, development, and build infrastructure and support hardware-dependent environments.
- Perform system administration, software installation, testing, verification, and build or installation support.
- Define and implement software version control processes, policies, procedures, and release management practices.
- Automate manual processes and implement infrastructure-as-code where appropriate.
- Build security into pipelines through SAST, SBOM generation, dependency and artifact management, and secure build practices.
- Enhance build infrastructure, deployment, and DevOps processes while contributing to infrastructure planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2–5 years of experience managing DevOps operations and tools, including GitLab, GitLab CI, GitHub, Artifactory, Xray, branching, tagging, merging, and release management.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using Docker, including multistage builds, Docker Compose, and development containers.
- Proficiency scripting in Python and Bash.
- Experience with Linux administration, including RHEL and Ubuntu.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, networking or security certifications, Kubernetes and EKS experience, Ansible and Terraform experience, DevSecOps practices, STIGs, IATT/ATO processes, lab and test hardware, hardware-in-the-loop environments, and embedded, robotics, UAS, or ROS-based software builds.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee as defined in the posting and qualify for applicable ITAR/EAR requirements.
- Must be able to work on government contracts and meet the role's clearance and export-control requirements.
