Base Salary
$112k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, debugging, testing, and review of IMA Configuration Tools written primarily in C# and Python.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior software engineers.
- Analyze user needs with systems engineers and stakeholders and translate requirements into software solutions.
- Ensure software activities align with product specifications, technical requirements, and program objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, external partners, and vendors on interoperability, integration, and software reuse.
- Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and solve complex engineering problems.
- Support task planning, work assignment definition, program execution, schedules, and deliverables.
- Contribute to improvements in software development processes, tools, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6 years of software development experience.
- Experience designing, developing, debugging, and testing applications in C# and/or Python.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
- Experience with C#, C++, Java, and/or Python is desired.
- Experience leading projects or mentoring software engineering team members is desired.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles is desired.
- Experience developing engineering tools, configuration tools, or applications used in regulated or technical environments is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and execution skills are desired.
