
Senior DevOps Engineer, EMEA
Keeper SecurityResponsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Improve deployment processes, release reliability, and developer workflows with Software Engineering teams.
- Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes or similar technologies.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve visibility, reliability, and incident response.
- Provide EMEA-based operational coverage and collaborate across regions to support platform reliability and continuity.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across cloud infrastructure, applications, networking, and deployment pipelines.
- Improve infrastructure security, access controls, secrets management, and configuration standards.
- Develop automation and tooling using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Improve platform scalability, performance, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Participate in architecture reviews, incident response, and post-incident improvement initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve scripting, troubleshooting, research, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and least-privilege principles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and networking.
- Experience collaborating with Software Engineering, Security, and QA teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed engineering organisation across time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Permanent residence in Ireland is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with high-scale SaaS or cybersecurity platforms, production Kubernetes, multi-account or multi-region AWS architectures, Ansible, vulnerability management, infrastructure hardening, compliance automation, secrets management, privileged access management, identity security, relevant AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications, and globally distributed production operations.
