Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, deploy, and scale LLM-powered security systems, RAG pipelines, tool-augmented agents, and autonomous workflows.
- Work directly with cybersecurity practitioners to understand operational bottlenecks and deliver working AI software solutions.
- Integrate agents with enterprise APIs, security scanners, SIEM/SOAR platforms, code repositories, and containerized infrastructure.
- Create evaluation frameworks measuring accuracy, latency, faithfulness, hallucination, reliability, and tool-call precision, and implement AI guardrails.
- Write production-ready Python, package applications as containerized microservices, and deploy them through automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply secure coding and AI safety practices addressing prompt injection, model abuse, data leakage, insecure tool execution, and other attack vectors.
- Standardize reusable AI components, evaluation patterns, and integration libraries across the CISO engineering organization.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered systems using prompt engineering, RAG architectures, structured outputs, and tool or function calling.
- Foundational cybersecurity knowledge in Application Security or Security Operations for AVP-level placement.
- Advanced experience architecting, building, and evaluating production tool-using agentic systems for VP-level placement.
- Strong technical depth in one cybersecurity domain, such as Offensive/AppSec or Detection/SOC, and working fluency in the other for VP-level placement.
- AVP placement generally requires 4–7+ years of software engineering experience and VP placement generally requires 8–10+ years.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience shipping or owning production services, pipelines, APIs, microservices, containerized applications, and CI/CD systems.
- Preferred experience with AppSec or SIEM tooling such as Semgrep, CodeQL, Snyk, Burp Suite, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic, or Google Chronicle.
- Preferred knowledge of detection engineering, MITRE ATT&CK, AI attack surfaces, fine-tuning or adaptation, and SOAR automation workflows.
- Preferred security certifications include OSCP, GWAPT, GPEN, or GCIH.
