Base Salary
$51k - $113k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI systems that transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Develop scalable machine learning models using Python and TensorFlow.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and build and maintain data pipelines for AI model deployment.
- Apply data analysis, pattern recognition, natural language processing, neural networks, and deep learning techniques.
- Build and orchestrate AI agent workflows with LangGraph, tools, APIs, context engineering, memory management, retry logic, and structured output validation.
- Develop production generative AI applications using prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, fine-tuning, and foundation models.
- Create automated evaluation frameworks using LLM-as-judge pipelines, regression testing, and adversarial benchmarking.
- Optimize open-weight language models for local and cloud deployment using quantization, inference acceleration, and model-routing techniques.
- Manage data quality and infrastructure to support reliable AI operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to improve AI solutions and drive business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible Engineering work experience with AI and Machine Learning for each missing year of college, in addition to the required experience.
- At least one year of experience.
- Experience or proficiency with Python and TensorFlow for AI projects.
- Experience with Scikit-Learn, natural language processing, complex data analysis, and pattern recognition.
- Experience building AI agent workflows, generative AI applications, automated LLM evaluation frameworks, and reliable multi-step AI systems.
- Experience optimizing open-weight language models such as LLaMA, Mistral, or Gemma for local or cloud deployment.
- A field of study such as Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Management, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology is preferred.
- Certifications aligned with data engineering, machine learning, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake are preferred.
