Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and non-technical stakeholders to shape features delivered to production.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices supporting BlaBlaCar Care workflows.
- Participate in the full application lifecycle, including design, development, test strategy, deployment, monitoring, alerting, and support.
- Document work, establish and enforce good practices, communicate changes, and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- Have a first experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Understand service-oriented architecture and how to choose appropriate architectural patterns.
- Be open to modern development tools and leveraging AI coding assistants.
- Be interested in exploring frontend work with React and TypeScript.
- Knowledge or prior experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Datadog is a plus.
- Have good communication skills, adaptability, a collaborative mindset, and fluency in English.
