Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable services, applications, microservices, and APIs for Solera products and solutions.
- Lead architecture, design reviews, code reviews, release planning, and technical coordination across engineering and partner teams.
- Diagnose and address performance, scalability, cross-platform stability, and legacy-platform transition challenges.
- Mentor engineers in technologies, design patterns, best practices, and technical leadership.
- Prototype and champion new technologies and represent technical capabilities and strategies to internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Design and build GenAI-powered applications using foundation models, RAG pipelines, and agent-based architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of software development and technical leadership experience.
- 10+ years of experience with Node.js, C# applications, and microservice technologies.
- At least 3 years of experience interfacing with SQL and NoSQL data-access layers.
- Expertise in modern software development practices across multiple languages and environments.
- Hands-on GenAI experience from the last 1–3 years, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP, agentic AI, orchestration frameworks, and inference optimization.
- Experience designing back-end services, microservices, APIs, frameworks, and full-stack systems spanning front-end, services, and data layers.
- Experience with cloud-native applications, public and private cloud services, automation, source-control management, and build, test, and profiling systems.
- Experience driving agile teams and collaborating effectively with front-end, data engineering, quality, operations, product, and other technical teams.
- Experience supporting platform transitions and solving challenges in complex legacy software stacks.
