Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver enterprise-scale software platforms using modern software engineering technologies.
- Build and operate backend APIs, including performance and latency benchmarking.
- Implement observability through metrics, logs, and traces, and support safe service rollouts.
- Apply DevOps practices including monitoring, safety and PII controls, and incident playbooks.
- Maintain system documentation and configuration standards and troubleshoot system issues.
- Collaborate across product and architecture teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-native solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology discipline such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Advanced English proficiency sufficient to lead meetings, negotiate, argue, and conduct training sessions.
- Experience integrating systems and designing or consuming APIs, including solid experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Experience working as a Software Engineer.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design, testing, debugging, and maintainability.
- Preferred: full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/React Native, and Node.js.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and Microsoft Power Platform.
