Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and business units to understand operations, domain knowledge, and workflow bottlenecks.
- Design and rapidly build AI prototypes and proofs of concept using generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI agents.
- Use low-code/no-code AI platforms, APIs, and rapid-application frameworks to validate and iterate solutions with end users.
- Test and evaluate prototypes for feasibility, accuracy, and business value.
- Partner with IT and MLOps teams to transition successful prototypes into secure, scalable, production-ready systems.
- Research and adopt emerging AI tools and open-source libraries to accelerate prototyping.
- Maintain technical documentation and user guides for validated prototypes and handoffs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field, or a minimum of three years of software development and systems integration experience.
- Strong programming skills and familiarity with web or application prototyping frameworks such as Streamlit, Gradio, FastAPI, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience or a strong project portfolio using generative AI tools, APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Auto-GPT.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, or Chroma.
- Ability to learn semiconductor manufacturing concepts, engineering workflows, and business logic quickly.
- Strong communication, collaboration, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer, keyboard, and mouse for prolonged periods.
- Willingness and ability to work Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and take 24/7 on-call duty every two months.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site at the Phoenix, Arizona facility.
