Base Salary
$140k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own storage and infrastructure problems from inception and architecture through production launch.
- Build and operate highly available, performant, secure, scalable, and cost-effective storage systems.
- Support sensitive enterprise documents, permission hierarchies, behavioral signals, and real-time query-path data.
- Deliver uptime guarantees, autoscaling, reliable alerting, and monitoring across multiple cloud providers.
- Abstract cloud-provider differences and reduce manual intervention through self-healing systems.
- Write design documents and robust, high-quality, well-tested code.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and prioritize impactful roadmap projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and learn from experienced team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience building infrastructure for distributed systems or cloud-native applications.
- Experience with storage systems such as databases, object stores, or distributed file systems.
- Strong coding skills in one or more languages such as Go, Python, Java, or C++.
- Ability to design reliable, scalable, and well-tested components.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development practices in GCP, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
- Customer focus, collaboration, troubleshooting, ownership, and a proactive attitude.
