Responsibilities

  • Own, maintain, and enhance existing C++ service applications for automotive Telematics and BCM systems.
  • Analyze and fix bugs, identify bottlenecks, and develop and ship new features.
  • Create and extend unit tests covering edge cases, usability, robustness, and reliability.
  • Document services and support the long-term maintenance of legacy applications.
  • Collaborate with lead developers, requirements engineers, clients, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver software.
  • Apply clean coding standards, quality metrics, static analysis, and software engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required; the posting also specifies a minimum of 10 years in Automotive ECU Software.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automotive is required.
  • Professional experience with C++ and Linux and knowledge of embedded development are required.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic implementation, Ethernet, UDP/TCP/IP, Wireshark, SOME/IP, and MQTT is required or expected.
  • Understanding of source-code management, software building, continuous integration, MC/DC and branch coverage, and static code analysis is required.
  • Knowledge of Automotive SPICE and cybersecurity, preferably ISO/IEC 27001:2022, is desired.
  • iSAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture—Foundation Level training is preferred.
  • Strong autonomy, technological affinity, analytical capability, and structured problem-solving skills are expected.
