Base Salary

$149k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and evolve the internal developer platform.
Own high-leverage projects across CLI tooling, CI/CD, shared libraries, and test infrastructure.
Build and evolve developer CLI tooling.
Extend the primary developer CLI to scaffold new component types and services.
Improve environment and credentials tooling for local development.
Own core CI/CD and linting infrastructure.
Design and maintain the backend CI workflow.
Evolve linting, formatting, and typing tools.
Debug and fix CI issues that block engineers.
Steward shared Go and Python ecosystems.
Maintain and evolve Python shared libraries and frameworks.
Strengthen test and release safety.
Drive platform-level design and abstractions.

Strong experience with Python 3.x, including CLI development and modern type hints.
Solid experience with Go, including shared library and service development.
Familiarity with Protobuf/gRPC for schema design and integration.
Experience with Bazel in a large monorepo.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes concepts.
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with modern CI systems and authoring pipelines.
Comfortable with Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
