Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Appian applications, including process models, records, interfaces, reports, business rules, and integrations.
- Develop and support integrations with enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs and modern authentication mechanisms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, infrastructure teams, and development teams to deliver business solutions.
- Drive application quality through code reviews, best practices, reusable design patterns, and functional and non-functional testing.
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting, operational excellence, and application performance improvements.
- Contribute to solution design, hosting-environment decisions, technical evaluations, continuous integration and delivery, and ways-of-working improvements.
- Act as a technical expert for DTCC applications and help coach and support other development teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Appian/BPM development experience delivering enterprise applications.
- Strong expertise in Appian Process Models, SAIL, Records/Data Fabric, Security, Reports, Rules, and Integrations.
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL, relational databases, workflow or case management solutions, and enterprise application integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience integrating Appian with enterprise applications and cloud-based platforms, plus exposure to AI-enabled automation, analytics, and modern DevOps practices.
- Appian Certified Senior Developer certification or higher is preferred.
- Financial Services or regulated-industry experience is a plus.
