Responsibilities
- Assist with enterprise Java web application development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization.
- Work on relational database configuration and connectivity.
- Write JUnit test cases and update documentation.
- Assist with document layout changes using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native technology.
- Enhance Java applications that help monitor and manage system transactions.
- Collaborate with team members and leaders on real business initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship is preferred.
- Knowledge of programming languages, preferably Java, databases, application development, SDLC, and client-server architecture is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
