Base Salary

$152k - $222k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand customer use cases and design representative network topologies.
  • Reproduce customer environments in internal labs using hardware, traffic generators, and open-source tools.
  • Configure, automate, qualify, and troubleshoot IOS-XR routing solutions on Cisco platforms.
  • Develop test frameworks, network validation scripts, and tools supporting test execution.
  • Replicate network protocols and real-world scenarios for solution testing and validation.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases and perform root cause analysis.
  • Monitor and optimize customer network-environment performance.
  • Collaborate globally with development and account management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience developing automation tools, test frameworks, and network validation scripts with Python.
  • Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, and Multicast technologies.
  • Experience with network automation such as pyATS, protocol testing, and software quality assurance.
  • Experience reproducing customer environments, performing root cause analysis, and delivering solutions for large-scale service-provider or enterprise deployments.
  • Experience configuring, validating, and troubleshooting routing platforms including Nexus switches and hardware-based forwarding.
  • Preferred experience with Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Cisco CCIE, CCNP, or Cisco DevNet certification is a plus.
  • Preferred experience with Grafana, Telegraf, InfluxDB, Ixia, and Spirent.
  • Preferred experience with gNMI, gRPC, NETCONF, YANG, REST API, and RPC.
  • Knowledge of CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Bash/Unix shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of KVM, VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XR, ASR, NCS, 8000, Nexus, Catalyst, or other router and switch platforms.
  • AI and machine learning experience is a plus.
